Hey there, I’m Aimee —photographer, storyteller, and connection-seeker.

Before stepping into photography nearly a decade ago, I spent almost 20 years working closely with children and families—as a youth worker, home daycare provider, and early childhood educator. That experience shaped who I am and gave me something I’m deeply proud of: a natural ability to connect, especially with kids. (Most of my little clients are asking when we can do it again before the session even ends!)

My sessions are relaxed, guided, and rooted in connection. You don’t have to worry about what to do—I’ll lead you every step of the way so you can feel comfortable, confident, and truly yourself. I’m not here for perfect poses—I’m here to capture the real moments: the laughter, the closeness, the feeling of being together.

This work is also deeply personal to me. I’ve experienced both great joy and great loss—losing my sister in 2010 and my dad in 2019 to cancer. Those losses changed how I see everything. I know how meaningful photographs become over time. They aren’t just images—they’re what we hold onto. They’re what bring us back to a feeling, a moment, a person we love.

Because of that, I go into every session with intention. I’m not just taking photos for today—I’m capturing something that will matter for years to come, something you’ll be grateful to have no matter what life brings.

I’m known for my calm, patient, and welcoming energy, and my goal is always the same: to help you feel at ease and leave your session wondering why you were ever nervous in the first place.

If you’re looking for meaningful, connection-filled photos that truly reflect your life and the people in it, I’d love to connect.

With love,
Aimee
